Racing Green Endurance – testing an electric super car Green Projects

This is a story about a group of Imperial College engineering students who are building an electric super sportscar with a record breaking range of over 500km (at 80km/h). To test the reliability of their clean-tech vehicle they want to drive the longest road in the world, the 26′000km long Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Argentina. These young engineers are on a mission to change the public perception about electric vehicles. They want to show that electric transport is no longer slow and boring but it can be very fast, powerful and sexy.

Along the Pan-American Highway they will look at various renewable energy projects, promote sustainability and education in clean-tech engineering.

The RACING GREEN ENDURANCE expedition will start in summer 2010 and will be captured in a 6 part TV series and a web video campaign.

Future Energy – Green Electricity for Sri Lanka Green Projects

This is a short teaser video for a documentary series about FUTURE ENERGY, a company that intends to produce electricity in Sri Lanka without fossil fuel. Instead of burning oil and coal they want to fuel power plants with local renewable resources like bio mass and waste.

Von Planta Productions Ltd. will follow the progress of FUTURE ENERGY over 2 years – looking at all the ups and downs, the problems, the successes, the political implications, the social impact etc. – and hopefully this story will become a showcase for sustainable energy production in the developing world.
